UK Intermediate Maths Challenge

70 of our most gifted mathematicians in Year 9 took part in the competition.
Mr Baksh and Ms Devane arranged for 70 of our most gifted mathematicians in Year 9 and 10 to take part in the UK Intermediate Maths Challenge, a timed challenge in exam conditions.
The aim of the competition is to promote maths learning and develop children's problem-solving skills. It consists of a multiple-choice paper and students are given 60 minutes to answer the questions. In preparation, students worked diligently on past challenges both in class and at home.
We eagerly await the publication of their results in the last week of February and look forward to celebrating the outcome of their hard work.
