As part of our Black History Month, students were given the opportunity to celebrate industrial pioneers and amazing role models of Afro-Caribbean descent that inspired students. 

In this competition, students were encouraged to create  a portrait or piece of writing that captures or celebrates their  role models achievements and  the positive impact they have had on society. 

We were pleased to announce that Nylah in 7Parks is the winner of the competition. Well done Nylah, it was great to see a well constructed multi-composition of Nelson Mandela and the use of digital drawing is really innovative and enhances the composition well.
