Orchard Park High School

Mental Health Week 2024 from the STAR

Last week, the students who showed kindness and made a difference received an awesome card, which they could exchange for a chocolate bar.

During mental health week at the STAR, we celebrated and raised awareness of mental health by writing positive messages and displaying them around the school for all students and staff to read.

We also took part in a wellbeing games lunchtime activity and wore our green ribbon stickers to show our support for mental health. We created a colourful chalk mental health awareness mural at the front of the STAR with pavement chalk and wrote 'wishes for mental health' and tied it up with ribbon.

Paddy, the school wellbeing dog, also joined us during the week!
