The week began with our Year 11 geography field trip. Ms Coupland reports a brilliant day: our
students worked really hard to collect the data needed for their Paper 3 exam. They carried out
questionnaires with members of the public and showed maturity and confidence.

Thank you to Mr Wright and Ms Friday for taking a group of drama students to see Harry Potter: The Cursed Child on Wednesday evening. A late finish but it was worth it. The students loved the production and Mr Wright reported excellent behaviour.

On Friday we held two minutes silence at 11.00am to remember the sacrifice of all of those in our armed forces, past and present. Thank you to Mr Samsoondar who provided the tutor time activity that culminated in the creation of a form group poppy wreath.

Monday marks Anti-Bullying Day, and children and staff are invited to wear odd socks to show their
support. We have lots of activities planned which I will write about next week.

Next week our Year 11s begin their Pre Public Exams. Mr Needham has communicated the details to students and families, so just a reminder that during the PPEs pupils should be in school at 8.00am for their breakfast revision sessions. They are very important exams and we wish them the best of luck.
