The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA)  is one of the UK’s oldest and most respected awarding bodies, offering practical examinations in communication and performance subjects for over 130 years. The qualifications have helped hundreds of thousands of candidates of all ages and abilities to develop lifelong skills. LAMDA qualifications at Level 6 and above carry UCAS points which can be very helpful when applying for college or university places. Many of our Year 11 students have left with the equivalent of an A Level grading.

At Orchard Park, we offer exams in Public Speaking, Acting, Verse and Prose, Musical Theatre and Shakespeare. We are very proud to offer LAMDA lessons and to also be a private LAMDA examination centre, with all exams held at school.

LAMDA lessons take place with Mrs Ruby during the course of the school day and are payable half termly.
