On 30th April, students in GCSE Drama and Year 9 were given the rare opportunity to attend a special showing of the smash West End and Broadway hit Hamilton at a significantly reduced price of just £10.

Students (and staff) were blown away with the performance, with its quick paced eclectic mix of hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap and R&B. Students were given a free programme and were able to purchase ice cream at a reduced price of £1. To top it off, the cast and crew were invited back onstage after the show for an intimate Q&A – what a wonderful experience! 

We hope to run the trip again next year and very much appreciate this opportunity provided by the producers and outreach team at Hamilton.
