Our Year 9 students attended John Ruskin College on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th June to take part in some fantastic workshops around design and technology.

They enjoyed some great enriching activities in design and technology, engineering, construction, arts and design etc. Students were arranged in groups and given various challenges to tackle. They were able to put into use one of our core values – collaboration. Our students worked well in their various groups and were able to complete all the tasks they were asked to do. 

Students also had the opportunity to put questions to the college lecturers about how they could develop their skills and discipline for progression into the careers of their choice.
