The theme for British Science Week 2023 was ‘Connections’.

Nearly all innovations in science, technology, engineering and mathematics are built on connections between people.

As part of British Science Week celebrations, Year 7 and Year 8 students were involved in a webinar about connecting technology and creativity (pictured above). The host for this exciting presentation was a Bafta-winning creative studio, Framestore. Framestore is a British animation and visual effects studio based in London

Year 9 and Year 10 students were involved in the Test Tube to Treatment webinar from IQVIA. IQVIA is a leading global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions, and clinical research services to the life sciences industry. Students discovered how medicines and pharmaceutical products that are used in hospitals, are developed and tested before being put to use.

There was also a poster competition for Years 7 to 10 on the theme ‘Connections’. Winners of this competition will be announced during Year assemblies.
