Year 11 students at Orchard Park High School have achieved fantastic GCSE results. The results are the best in the school’s history. These are well-deserved outcomes. Staff and students worked very hard, showing drive and commitment throughout the year. Our families provided fantastic support for their children: everyone should feel immensely proud. 

Maths and English results this year are particularly impressive. The percentage of students achieving a Grade 5+ in both of these core subjects has risen by 20% since 2019. Overall, 31% of all grades achieved were between a grade 7 and a grade 9. 

We are proud of all students’ achievements, but a special mention must go to those students who have achieved the best progress and achievement scores in the school. Notably Laksh Patel, Ethan Livingstone, Millie Bleau, Stephanie Gyamfi, Ithohan Akendaji, Jahvel Elliott, Faith Oninku and Aryan Samadzada who achieved grade 9s and 8s in several subjects. The following students have made exceptional progress, as well as achieving some outstanding grades: Mardin Hamad, Sadia Mehrun, Will Adams, Martin Georgiev, Andreas Malekos, Anita Kuzeva, Destiny Ssajjabbi, Abishek Saji, Zara Rahman and Joshua Cole. 

We have loved watching this cohort grow into intelligent, compassionate and wise young people and we wish them every success in the future.
